Dapplegray- gray with ill-defined mottling of a darker shade, is an undergraduate 4 girls improvisational band, established in Fall 2011, from Mills College.Dapplegray is Nava Dunkelman (percussion), Shaina Elster(piano, vocal, guitar), Tara Sreekrishnan (piano), Jeanie Tang aka April (synth, pedals, electronics).Please come join us for our very first seven pieces performance at the Jeannik Méquet Littlefield Concert Hall at Mills College. We will also be presenting collaborations with Mills dancers, Shinichi Iova-Koga, as well as Fred Frith.

The program will also include the revival of Regions created in 1995-96, a work in three parts: Chair, Ocean Walk, Mesa, set to music by Maggi Payne.
